Psychiatric Co-Morbidity in Patients Presenting with Primary Headache

Background: Headache is a common neurological disorder and most disabling conditions in the worldwide. Psychiatric disorders can occur with at least two to three-fold greater frequencies among patients presenting headache than general population. The presence of psychiatric co-morbidity further complicates management portends poorer prognosis. Therefore, present study primary know nature extent associated was undertaken. Methods: Present sample consists 62 who presented complaints department Psychiatry Neuropsychiatry from August 2016 June 2018 included study. MINI 7.0.0 applied elicit any disorder. Results: In this 65% had co-morbid disorders. Out illnesses; 43.55% MDD, 14.52% GAD, 3.23% Panic 3.23%had Social phobia headache. Conclusions: Patients have high levels view findings, should include detail assessment coexisting psychopathology treatment both conditions.
